We're off to see the Wizard

My blog title has nothing to do with this blog post content, it's just the first thing that popped into my head. Don't ask why. My brain is special. Like eat the paste special; It's a big bag of weird up there. If anyone can name the show that those two quotes are from I'll give you a gummy bear and a kiss. Lets see, lets see....what was the point of this blog post.........I can't seem to remember......give me a second........................oooh yessssssss....I remember. THIS STUFF!



It's white, its cold, it's wet, it kills people, it's horrible, its.....S-N-O-W and I hate hate hate HATE it. Who likes the color white? Not me! The only real purpose of white is to remember to keep ourselves clean and pure and to make colors lighter when you're painting. THAT'S IT! Who likes to be cold? Not me! Anyone out there wake up in the morning and thing, "Dang it I wish I was cold!" or does anyone lounge around thinking, "Man I could really use a good cup of COLD!" Who likes being wet? Not me! The only time I ever enjoy being wet is in a nice hot bath. That's all! And even then I'm miserable once I'm out and my hair is all wet. Who likes things that kill people? Not me! I'm pro life. I want everyone to live happily ever after. No dying. Who likes horrible things? Not me! I like nice fluffy things like bunnies and puppies. I like things that make me feel happy like good food and hot men. Who likes the snow? You better not like the snow if you're friends with me. Those people in the picture don't even look happy. They look miserable. I can tell! If someone can tell me how the snow benefits ME then I can re-consider everything I've just said. But until then I'm going to sit in my nice warm house, watch a movie, sip my hot chocolate, and curse at the stupid ugly white stuff falling to the ground. YUCK!

Blogging

I need to get something off my chest about this whole blog world. I enjoy reading blogs and I also enjoy writing in my blog but here's my problem. I don't know what to say. I mean I have thoughts, LOTS of thoughts but putting them into words on a blog is the hard part. Do I post about my day, do I post about what i ate for dinner, or do I post the last time I went to the bathroom. I've had this blog for almost three years and I don't have a lot to show for it but I love looking back and reading old posts and thinking about the memories so I'm going to try......key word TRY to stay updated. I'm not in school anymore (yay for getting a degree) so I have a lot of time to on my hands and why not use it for this damn thing. For those of you that don't know I'm currently living in Park City. Here are the pros and cons of living in Park City.

Pros
1. I live with a rich family that buys me things
2. I don't pay for rent or for food
3. I have my own living room, tv, and bathroom without having to share
4. I don't pay for gas....ever.
5. I make really good money for the work I'm doing
6. I get to see moose in my backyard
7. When we go out to eat we always get dessert

Cons
1. I live on top of a very steep mountain that's terrifying when it snows
2. I'm not a skier or snowboarder
3. I'm not outdoorsy
4. I'm not a hippy even though sometimes I dress like it
5. I don't smoke pot... (I don't fit in)
6. There's not many LDS people around
7. Did I mention the REALLY steep mountain


Obviously my life isn't that bad right now.....is it perfect? No! But when has my life ever been perfect.....scratch that....when is ANYONE'S life perfect? And things could always be a heck of a lot worse. I could still be living in Rexburg. Yick!

VERY First Wedding

I took wedding pictures today for the first time EVA and I must say they turned out FANTASTIC! I loved it because this girl LOVES funky colors of pictures and just artsy stuff so I can edit them all cool. I can't wait to edit the rest. Here's a couple. They were a great couple!

Love for Photography

It's pictures like this that really make me love photography. It's probably not a good picture to anyone else and I'm sure a lot of people would hate this picture. But there's at least one picture in every "roll" of film that speaks to me and this one just does. I can't explain it. It almost makes me cry. I just really love it. I wish I could put into words how it makes me feel but I can't. This is just why I love taking pictures. It isn't to be the best, I don't want to ever toot my own horn, I don't even care if no one in this world likes my pictures. It's for my own pleasure and to know that I saw beauty through that camera lens and I captured it. Ahh beautiful!

New Favorite Skirt

Two posts in one day!?!? SAY WWWHHHHAAATTTT!! It's shocking! But I have no life. Soooooo lose some weight. . .buy a new skirt! And I loooovveeee this one! (Wow I'm using a lot of double, triple, quadruple, quintuple, sex((hehe))tuple, letters) Isn't it so cute? And it was only $10 (because I never buy anything that's over 10 unless it's pants or shoes. . .shoes is even pushing it) from H&M, the store of all stores, and it has pockets. Not the pest picture ever but you get the idea. Cuttteeee!

Portfolio Project

This was my final portfolio project for my final Art class of my college career. I thought I'd share. . .it was a lot of work and I got bit by a dog for the first time ever in the whole process of it.
